'Mumbai Meri Jaan' is an organisation that is dedicated to social causes and well-being of the citizens of Mumbai. The 'Mumbai Meri Jaan Festival' is held each year close to the Feast of Christmas. It aims to celebrate the rich culture, heritage and talents that Mumbai embodies. The three days of festivities named as "FIESTA 2023" from December 25-27 this year included music, dance performances, live performances, food festivals, and various engaging activities that brought communities together.
Selwyn Santmajor from St Theresa of the Child Jesus Church, Airoli was felicitated at the event on December 27, 2023 for his Achievements and Records at the national and international level, as well as for his tremendous contributions to the Catholic Church by his involvement in the parish Cells and Associations and at the Deanery and Diocesan level. He is the only one from Navi Mumbai to receive this honour, and also one of the youngest to have received this appreciation.
Selwyn Santmajor is the only Indian with a global recognition for his Rubik's Cube Mosaic Portraits. He is considered to be one of the finest artists in the world when it comes to making a human portrait with Rubik's Cubes. He has been featured on T-Series, Star Sports, Mid-Day, Red FM, Radio City, 9XM, Zoom, MTV and many other media platforms for his Music, Art and Tattoos.
He holds National and World Records for his back tattoo and for his skills with the Rubik's Cube, wherein he solves the cube whilst beat-boxing and performing a stunt or exercise or while doing some extreme sport.
