Family Day Celebration and Feast of the Holy Family at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Parish, Airoli. On December 29, 2024, St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Parish, Airoli, came alive with joy and togetherness as it celebrated Family Day in conjunction with the Feast of the Holy Family.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from 180 parishioners, making it a memorable evening filled with love, laughter, and fellowship. A special highlight of the evening was a heartwarming gesture by the parish priest, Fr. Samuel Ribeiro, who arranged a cake-cutting ceremony for two Holy Communicants whose families could not afford a celebration. This thoughtful act brought immense joy to the children and their families, making the day truly special for them.
The fun-filled evening was hosted by the parish's very own talented Selwyn Santamajor, whose lively spirit kept everyone engaged through games and entertaining activities. Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Community/Zone-wise carol singing competition featured carols in multiple languages, showcasing the diversity and unity of the parish.
The event concluded with a fellowship meal, strengthening the bonds among parishioners and leaving everyone with cherished memories. The parish community expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Samuel Ribeiro for his dedication and effort in organizing such a beautiful and meaningful celebration.
